The build up to Gary Beck’s debut album on Soma starts here with the first single, ‘Before The Crash’. Gary turns out in true fashion with two massive tracks which highlight, without a doubt, his status as one of the top producers around at the moment. Title track ‘Before The Crash’ filters in slowly revealing chunky house style drums peppered with a distinctive horn and completed with Garys well defined production skills.
The track flows and swells perfectly with ride cymbals splashing in and out giving it power and momentum. B side ‘Hopkin’ demonstrates Garys unique ability at creating music specifically designed for peak time club action. This hard hitting percussive track build with hard edged drum patterns that rattle away as a stuttered vocal sample drops in and out. A dynamic track that will no doubt cause dance floors to erupt worldwide.
